Three guys booked a private charter with Tag Cabo on 6-16-2022. We had a blast with Captain Felipe on a 26’ Panga. 1 was an intermediate, 1 was a novice, and 1 had never fished before. All 3 of us caught more then 3 large fish each (including Roosters) and were able to take plenty back to the resort to cook for the family. I highly recommend Tag Cabo for anyone who wants a great private fishing experience. Recommended for the most beginner to the most experienced. We will be booking again next time we come back.

The 50 foot ocean is an excellent boat. The crew, captain and chef were very accommodating. They have awesome gear, would rent with them again.

My dream has always been to catch a rooster. Came to Cabo to catch a rooster. And Thank you Julio and tag Cabo. They made my trip! Gracias por todo. I’m comin back next year. Highly recommend!

Great Experience! Arturo set up everything up no issues and great communication. Overall great trip with Captain Felipe and his son Julio. They were both very knowledgeable and attentive they put us on the fish bright and early got a total of 9 Marlin between 3 of us! Tag Cabo Sport fishing set the bar high for my first Cabo experience! Definitely coming back for some Mahi-Mahi with Tag!

Nice yachts and nice clothes

Felipe is the man! My son and I were able to fulfill our goal of each catching a marlin. I appreciate all the help of Tag Cabo in helping us getting the trip set up through changes due to health issues with family members. It is the 3rd trip with them and wouldn’t use anyone else! Thank you Felipe...hope to see you next year.

Tag Cabo has proven year after year to be an outstanding charter fishing company in Cabo , we have fished with them for many years and every year they continue to prove to be one of the top fleets in cabo . We love fishing with these guys . Arturo has always been awesome to deal with , a guy you can trust to look after you . Fishing with Filepe , Julio and Jobe and Lalo has always been outstanding . Truly great fisherman and great experiences .

My husband and I had an awesome trip with Tag Cabo! We went out for marlin and moments after getting to the fishing spot, we were getting bites! Within the first two hours we each caught beautiful marlin, one which we kept and the other safely released. We decided to go for yellowfin tuna with our last couple hours of the day but weren’t able to hook into any despite Julio’s hard work which was super impressive to watch. Yellowfin wasn’t our target for the day, so it was just a plus to try for something different and see the techniques used for tuna vs marlin! Julio then set us up with the proper people to butcher, vacuum seal, and freeze our marlin which we were safely able to fly with back home to Pennsylvania, USA. Overall, a wonderful trip and an awesome way to see the waters and wonders of the sea in Cabo!

Had an amazing time fishing with Tag Cabo! We caught 6 huge Marlin on our half day trip. Our captains and guides Julio and Felipe were friendly and did an amazing job. It was my first time ever fishing and an awesome experience! If you are in Cabo make sure to take a fishing trip with these guys! 🎣

From the first email I sent all the way to our taxi back to Riu it was nothing but a pleasure working with the entire Tag Cabo staff. We were greeted by Arturo at the marina where he escorted us to to the beautiful 28 ft hydrasport CC. He then hooked us up with Capt Julio, handed us some amazing breakfast burritos and we set sail early. A quick stop at the gas station for fuel and live bait and we headed out. The boat was fast and very comfortable. A fishing machine. Although it was not rooster season that’s what I really wanted. Capt Julio took us past some spectacular scenery in search of the roosters. Within an hour we landed a very nice one and decided it was time for Marlin. After a 45 minute ride to the bank Capt Julio spotted a large bait ball on the Simrad sonar. My girlfriend and I dropped our baits down and on our second drop we both double up. After what like a few hours we both landed Marlin that were at least 130 lbs. Awesome experience and the fish were safely released. We took a ride back inshore to troll for dorado. It took a while but Capt Julio was persistent in an area and we finally hooked up. He stopped the boat and we pitched out several more baits until we tripled up. With one being a nice bull. We headed back to the marina where we fed the sea lions the leftover bait and Capt Julio filleted our dorado and recommend a great catch and cook spot. Highly recommend. These guys are super professional. I am an experienced fisherman and I learned a lot from this trip. If you are in Cabo and want to catch trophy fish these are the guys.
