My wife and just recently returned from a long weekend in Cabo where we were able to spend 2 full days fishing with Tag Cabo Sportfishing. We try and visit the area a couple times a year for the purpose of fishing and relaxing. Over the years, we have fished with several different charter companies and on a variety of boats. Tag Cabo Sportfishing has officially checked all the boxes! I believe we have found our home and the company we will always use while fishing in Cabo! On our first day we fished with Filipe (sp) on a small panga, El Jeffe. The boat was very accommodating and Filipe was very knowledgeable of the area. This is a very “hands on” experience, from assisting navigate the boat, helping with lines, and landing the fish. Filipe had us on Dorado within a few minutes of leaving the marina and we were on fish all day long. Filipe was very personable and spoke good English. If you want a good day fishing and catching fish, I would highly recommend him. Our second day we had rented a slightly bigger boat as my wife wanted something with more comfort. Upon arrival at Tag Cabo Sportfishing’s office in the morning we were informed that we had been upgraded to a larger boat at no coat. We had requested a slightly bigger boat for day 2 as we wanted to have the option for a chef on board. Arturo upgraded us to a 50 ft Bertram , Rhino Del Mar! Captain Ramon and his crew were fantastic and had us on Tuma right away in the morning, with my wife landing a Tuna around 100lbs! After that, we chased marlin were I was fortunate enough to and a stripped and blue marlin about 2 hours apart! The chef prepared fresh sushi rolls, sashimi and other fantastic food while we out fishing! This was a world class day in my book and will be hard to beat! Felipe aka “El Jefe” and his son Julio gave myself and my wife and 2 daughters one of the best fishing experiences of my life. I’ve been to Alaska, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Gulf of Mexico, Canada, etc etc and this was top notch. I specifically wanted to target Roosterfish and Tag Cabo put us on them all morning. Couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water. We will definitely be back!

Booking this trip was the best decision I have made in many years, Me and Arturo communicated back-and-forth for a couple months before I came down answering lots of my question. When we arrived that morning the boat that we had chartered was down he acted like it was no big deal he sent the 4 of use out on the 38 foot Albemarle "EL DIABLO" with Captain Jobe. One heck of a UPGRADE. They provided us with breakfast Burritos and drinks, We all caught a Marlin, I personally didnt not expect to caught a 9 foot Marlin nearly 200 pounds that was mind blowing we decided to release it (today I regret it lol) Until you have actually caught one of these fish you have no idea what you're in for it is such a surprise to actually get to see them and how they fight getting them to the boat is awesome and a workout. We fished from 7:00 a.m. to almost 6:00 p.m. to hit the last Marlin, Their knowledge of where the fish are at is amazing, when seen alot of Whales and Dolphins that was a bonus, Needless to say we have already booked for June 2020 already for next fishing adventure with them to go after Marlin, Tuna, Roster Fish and Dorado. I would like to start by saying Thank you!!!! I had a two day charter with Tag Cabo and from the start it was a great experience. The professionalism was easy from booking until we stepped back on the dock. I’ve been on many charters and most disappointing. This is honestly the 1st one I walked away from that I can truly say has me smiling still. The passion for fishing Arturo, his captains, and 1st mates have is what you want in a charter. They just love to fish, period! His integrity was what was most genuine you don’t find these days and could tell from his own excitement when we caught our fish that he truly cares about his clients. They all worked their butts off. We were able to catch Dorado(my wife’s 1st), Sierra mackerels and my 1st striped marlin. We were constantly offered beverages food and were treated first class all the way. All of their equipment is also top of the line from the Shimano reels to the brand new hooks. They went the distance and didn’t matter where they were we were going to go get them. On top of that we also saw whales, turtles, dolphins and porpoises. We also had a nice surprise feeding the couple of baits we had left to a sea lion on the return which was pretty damn cool. Arturo is taking Cabo by storm and I will definitely be back to bring the children as well. Loved every minute great capt put us on the fish at the turn of the tide hooked up two right away. Turned an ranned to the fish to keep another boat off our line an backed down on the fish for quick capture. The mate alex was the best saved my fish when the rod came out of the holder ( my fault spaz) an wrestled Craig’s into the boat with his legs wrapped around the fighting chair to keep from going over with it !!! Tag Cabo sportfishing made our Fishing trip the absolute best it could be, they we’re accommodating to our request and genuinely eager to give us the best Cabo fishing experience possible. They know these waters well and also had great relationships with local contacts to help us after the trip was over. I would give them 6 stars if it was an option. Don’t bother with the competition just call these guys and they will take care of you. Arturo, Angel, and Hector are extremely good at what they do, and you can truly tell they enjoy sharing there talents with you.

This was the best saltwater fishing trip I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot. I travel all around the world fishing and this was my favourites by far. Captain Filipe was an 11/10! You have to book with TAG CABO!

Had a blast on my bachelor party with these guys!!!! 3 stripe marlins in 3 days. Awesome experience with awesome people!!! Very professional and highly recommended

I want to thank Arturo for the great fishing we had. We had a couple of rough fishing days and he came with us to make sure we caught the Marlin of a lifetime. All it takes is one bite to make trip.Make sure you get the chef on your trip they treat you like a king.Tag Cabo Sportfishing is the way to go. THANKS again for the the trip of a lifetime.

World class captains/anglers that have the best boats in the fleet to put you on the fish. We got to sightfish for striped marlin while we ate fresh sushi and drank ice cold beers. The Marlin were up on the surface chasing bait with the Frigates overhead, awesome sight to see. The sushi chef on board made sure we did not go hungry and brought out a huge selection of fresh sushi/sashimi. We had the time of our lives and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this crew of great guys. The Tag Cabo shop has a great selection of shirts and gifts to bring back home for the family as well.
