Three of us targeted yellowfin tuna on the 28-ft center console and had an unreal day on the water with Tag Cabo. We caught fish every way you’d want to—trolling, casting poppers, live bait, and even on the kite with flying fish. It was the full Cabo playbook, executed perfectly. Captain Felipe Mayo was constantly working the dolphins, moving quickly and decisively to stay on the right pods and maximize our shots at fish. There was no wasted time—when opportunities showed up, we were already set up and fishing. On deck, Flacco worked nonstop, rigging, managing lines, resetting the spread, helping with hookups, and keeping everything organized and running smoothly all day. The whole operation was calm, efficient, and clearly dialed. We ended the day with 16 yellowfin tuna and walked away with around 200 lbs of fully processed, top-quality fish. We honestly could’ve kept catching, but we had to call it to make dinner reservations—and because we were absolutely exhausted in the best possible way. What really stood out was how far they went on the logistics side. Since we were flying out the next day, they went out of their way to make sure the processor turned everything around quickly, which made traveling home with our fish completely stress-free. The boat was fast, clean, and well set up, with quality gear and plenty of room to fish comfortably. Communication was great, the vibe was relaxed but focused, and it felt less like a charter and more like fishing with a team that genuinely wanted us to succeed. On top of all that, the customer service was next level. I forgot my hat on the boat, and Arturo had someone personally deliver it to me the very next day. That kind of follow-through says a lot. One other thing worth mentioning—Tag Cabo also offers spearfishing, which isn’t widely known. After seeing how dialed they are on yellowfin, it’s something I absolutely plan to take advantage of on a future trip to put a spear in one. If you’re coming to Cabo specifically to catch yellowfin tuna and want a crew that knows how to find them, fish them properly, and take care of every detail, Tag Cabo is the real deal. This was exactly the kind of trip you hope for—and the kind you talk about long after you’re home.

Had lots of fun kayak fishing in cabo. The guide Ricardo took us to a few marked spots and there was lots of fishing action. We caught over 10 fish and I wish I could have stayed more but the driver had to give me a ride back to the hotel. Highly recommend. Ricardo went above and beyond teaching the proper jigging technique and helping me with vacuum sealing the fish so I could take back home. I prepared a ceviche last weekend and it was really good!

We had an absolutely outstanding trip with Humberto & Roberto on the 35 ft Rock N Reel boat on Tag Cabo's Fleet. They literally guaranteed my buddy and I would each catch a Striped Marlin and we actually got 3! They are EXCELLENT...can't wait to fish with them again! 100% recommend them!!

I've done a lot of fishing in my lifetime. This was by far the best trip I've ever been on we caught four Blue marlons one day. Really unheard of. The crew was outstanding. I highly recommend using Gilbert

Captain Hector, Ceasar, Julio, and Earnesto were incredible—knowledgeable, professional, and so much fun to spend the day with. They knew exactly where to go and made sure we had an amazing time out on the water. We checked off a bucket list dream—catching Striped and Blue Marlin, Mahi-Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, and Wahoo! The crew handled everything perfectly, from helping us reel in the big ones to keeping the energy high all day. If you’re looking for an epic fishing adventure in Cabo, Tag Cabo Sportfishing is the team to go with. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

My brothers and I booked a 3 day charter with Tag Cabo and we had an absolute blast, the captain put us in fish and and we got a few trophy worthy fish along the way! Through a few hiccups with the boat and a well managed incident, these men were professional and courteous throughout the duration of the trip. Ceaser ‘Chef’ made us some magnificent lunches with our fresh catches, if he offers you lunch, take it! If you book the Rhino Del Mar, you will surely not be disappointed.

The perfect fishing trip! This is our first time fishing with TAG and they did not disappoint. The service was extremely professional and courteous. We caught Marlin, Sail Fish, Tuna, Sierra. I am having a tough time trying to think of how I can express how incredible this company is without getting to long winded or coming across as a guy with something to gain from good review, but my wife and I have literally traveled all over the world fishing, and Tag Cabo In my personal opinion is hands down the #1 charter company that we have ever fished with offshore. You can see my first review of them on their Facebook page from last March after being referred by Capt. Rodney Hennig of Rodney’s Reel Outdoor’s in British Columbia. I decided to invite along some close friends on this trip that have always wanted to catch big fish, and they were ruined for life if they ever decide to fish anywhere else because of how high the bar has been set. The reason that I decided to write such a detailed review is not only due to the fact that every day on the water with them thus far has produced such an abundance of fish, but it’s also because of the level of professionalism and knowledge that I believe consistently sets them apart from anyone else. Communication with the owner (Arturo Chacon) is extraordinary. This guy knows his business well. Cabo has become so well known for its incredible fishing grounds that it has in turn attracted many types of hustlers that will tell you whatever it takes to get your money and take you on a boat ride.
