From the first email I sent all the way to our taxi back to Riu it was nothing but a pleasure working with the entire Tag Cabo staff. We were greeted by Arturo at the marina where he escorted us to to the beautiful 28 ft hydrasport CC. He then hooked us up with Capt Julio, handed us some amazing breakfast burritos and we set sail early. A quick stop at the gas station for fuel and live bait and we headed out. The boat was fast and very comfortable. A fishing machine. Although it was not rooster season that’s what I really wanted. Capt Julio took us past some spectacular scenery in search of the roosters. Within an hour we landed a very nice one and decided it was time for Marlin. After a 45 minute ride to the bank Capt Julio spotted a large bait ball on the Simrad sonar. My girlfriend and I dropped our baits down and on our second drop we both double up. After what like a few hours we both landed Marlin that were at least 130 lbs. Awesome experience and the fish were safely released. We took a ride back inshore to troll for dorado. It took a while but Capt Julio was persistent in an area and we finally hooked up. He stopped the boat and we pitched out several more baits until we tripled up. With one being a nice bull. We headed back to the marina where we fed the sea lions the leftover bait and Capt Julio filleted our dorado and recommend a great catch and cook spot. Highly recommend. These guys are super professional. I am an experienced fisherman and I learned a lot from this trip. If you are in Cabo and want to catch trophy fish these are the guys.

It was the most amazing fishing trip I have had on a paid charter. These guys were really professional, they taught me alot, and we caught 8 or 9 marlin. It was really great. I own a boat in San Diego and fish about every other weekend so it is hard to impress me but the captain and crew really worked harder and put in more effort than any other captain I have fished with. Next time we are going for large yellowfin! These guys don't spend hours getting to the spot to conserve fuel, they run at 20 knots and get you on the fish quick. I think we were fishing for ten minutes before we hooked the first marlin. Trip of a lifetime. Arturo C, Jobe Abraham, and Carlos on the 38' Ablemare will see me soon.

Awesome experience on the 28-ft Hydra sport with Felipe and his son Jose. They were both so kind and courteous to my wife that has a disability. Hard working when out of their way with tough fishing conditions to land Dorado mahi-mahi. Set me up with an awesome place to process vacuum seal and freeze my fish to take home. Can't wait to fish with them again an absolute pleasure.

Without a doubt, the experience of fishing with the people of Tag Cabo was unforgettable. Arturio and Cap. Arturo and the Tag Cabo Team is a 1st class sportfishing guide. This was my first time in Cabo and I was excited to spend 4 days on the water with this Tag crew. On day 1 I landed my first Stripped Marlin. Super exciting moment! Captain El Jefe definitely knows the water, how to fish and where the fish are. From the time I stepped on the boat to the time I stepped off the boat, everyone on the Tag Team was professional and very courteous. Not to mention the Tag Team made sure we caught fish even if we stayed out a little longer than usual. If your looking to catch some fish in the Sea of Cortez, or the Deep Blue Pacific, Tag Cabo is your one stop shop. If I could give 10 ⭐'s on this review I would. I'm definitely looking forward to going back and spending more time with this professional crew. I have been fishing with Arturo and Tag Cabo Sportfishing for 6 consecutive years. This year was no different then any other time we've gone. We fished 5 days with Tag Cabo. I will tell you this you just don't fish you build a friendship that lasts a lifetime. You may find a cheaper place to fish but l will tell you they are very competitive in price and fight hard to put you on the fish every day. Captain Felipe is a fierce competitor and he wants to win every day on the water he actually takes it Personal if you don't catch fish or have one get off. I would highly recommend them over anyone in Cabo. They're no longer friends They're family. Los Pescadores De Tejas will always fish with them.

Let's start by saying I have tried to catch Marlins in several other locations with no luck and really wanted to catch a Marlin. The day before my trip my friends boat trip was changed by another charter and the only day the company could do was the day of my fishing trip, Tag Cabo quickly and happily saved the day and changed my date to accommodate this other companies mix up. Fishing day we met Felipe on the boat he asked me what we wanted to catch and he started getting ready. On the way out he told me about a big school of Tuna that people were catching fish on, i replied no thanks Marlin or nothing, he said ok we go get you a Marlin. Felipe worked to catch me fish from when we left the dock until we returned. We caught my Marlin and i am highly impressed and thankful to have went out with Felipe and Tag Cabo. Buen trabajo amigos, gracias! The gear and boat was impeccable and seeing a huge pod of baby dolphins playing was incredible.

We have fished the Los Cabos Tuna Jackpot for the past five years and this has been by far the best charter company we have worked with hands down. I can't say enough about how happy we were with the experience we had working with Arturo and the TAG Cabo Sportfishing team. They were extremely professional, responsive and accommodating to all our needs and questions. As far as the team we fished with Arturo said he was going to pair us with his best and he did just that. He suggested we fish on a boat named the TailChaser with one of his best captain's Julian Liquidano. I had already done my research so I knew who he was and was extremely excited to fish with him. I wasn't disappointed! His knowledge and communication plus the energy and enthusiasm of his crew Lalito and Alfo was amazing. He had us on the tuna both days when so many of the other teams struggled to even get a bite. We caught 13 tuna over a two day period in the 40-100lb range but the 14th was the biggest. It was just under 200lbs and had us in the running to win the tournament. Ultimately we came up alittle short but we had the 4th heaviest fish caught out of 149 boats. We are already planning next year and will definitely be fishing with TAG Cabo Sportfishing!

Booking this trip was the best decision I have made in many years, Me and Arturo communicated back-and-forth for a couple months before I came down answering lots of my question. When we arrived that morning the boat that we had chartered was down he acted like it was no big deal he sent the 4 of use out on the 38 foot Albemarle "EL DIABLO" with Captain Jobe. One heck of a UPGRADE. They provided us with breakfast Burritos and drinks, We all caught a Marlin, I personally didnt not expect to caught a 9 foot Marlin nearly 200 pounds that was mind blowing we decided to release it (today I regret it lol) Until you have actually caught one of these fish you have no idea what you're in for it is such a surprise to actually get to see them and how they fight getting them to the boat is awesome and a workout. We fished from 7:00 a.m. to almost 6:00 p.m. to hit the last Marlin, Their knowledge of where the fish are at is amazing, when seen alot of Whales and Dolphins that was a bonus, Needless to say we have already booked for June 2020 already for next fishing adventure with them to go after Marlin, Tuna, Roster Fish and Dorado. The best fishing charter company in Cabo. I go down to Cabo every year and Arturo is the first person I call to line up fishing for me and my friends everyday. He has access to nice boats and pangas so whatever fits your budget he can provide. I have referred many friends to him and he always takes care of them. The captains they have are really nice and know how to put you on the fish. I highly recommend Arturo and Tag Cabo for all your sport fishing needs!
